About SPPS

Side Pony specializes in custom screen printing and graphic design for t-shirts, long sleeves, hoodies, bags & much more. All graphics, color separations, film work, and pre-press and printing are done in house. This provides for quick and easy turnaround. We strive to give our customers quality, affordability and comfort in all the work we do. You just let us know what you need and leave the rest to us!

How to order:

We will need to know what items you want to print on (T shirts, Long Sleeves, Sweatshirts, etc.)

A quantity will help us quote you so a roundabout # of how many of each item.

If you have a brand or style that you prefer let us know that as well.

Attach your logo or art in the email please provide a vector image (ai, eps),

if you do not have a vector file fees will apply to produce this for you.

(Please note, our minimum order quantity is 24 units unless discussed in more depth)

Quote:

We will send back a quote based on the information you provided in your email.

Proof:

If you agree to the price we will send you back a Proof/Info Sheet with all the details of the order.

You will need to approve the Proof or let us know if any changes need to be made.

Artwork Cost: $40 an hour depending on how complex the design(s)

Screen fees: $30 screen fee for each color/location

For returning customers screen fees drop to $15 for each color/location as long as the design has no changes

Payment:

After you approve the proof, we will need to get full payment or a deposit (amount to be determined) before we can order any product or start printing.

Printing:

Once we have a deposit or full payment, we will order your product and begin working on your order. There is typically a two week turnaround time from when the order is placed.

Rush orders add $150

Invoice:

When your order is finished we will send you an email with your invoice attached. Balance is due upon receipt of goods. Invoice must be paid before we ship/deliver/pick of your order.

We accept cash, check, and Venmo.

INKS

PLASTISOL INKS/WATERBASE/DISCHARGE INKS

What type of inks do we use at Side Pony?

Plastisol ink is the most common ink for screen printing all types of fabrics and is non-water soluble. We often use this ink for decorating uniforms and others specifically when it comes to polyester, spandex, rayon and nylon materials.

Water based inks are a special type of ink that soaks into the fabric instead of sitting on top like plastisol inks. Once all the water is removed from the fabric you are left with a very soft print with a nice vintage feel. It is also environmentally friendly and can be cleaned with soap and water and no harsh chemicals.

Discharge ink is still a water based ink that soaks into the fabric leaving it super soft. The difference is there is a mixing agent that removes the pigment from the shirt when it its printed. This is a really cool process to watch!

Note* Not all garments and colors can be discharged. Other processes may be needed depending on the fabric.

We sometimes defer to heat press options as well! There are lots of ways to make your design killer and we are here to help do just that :)
